Station 59 Paving Project
After being rained out in September, the parking lot received a fresh coat of blacktop in early October. Service to the community was never affected, as the apparatus were temporarily moved to the apron in front of the main firehouse to allow the blacktop to cure. Mother Nature again provided some rain after the project was complete, which helped the curing process. Thanks to the members that manned the station for the weekend to keep an eye on the apparatus.
